Shelf Life is an interactive library management game.


Development

I worked as the Main Designer, UX/UI Lead and Concept Artist in this project. I worked in tandem with the Developer, Narrative Writers and Sound Engineer to create Shelf Life!


Hundreds of assets were made during the 3 month time frame. All the concepts and frames were first designed with rough sketches. Once these sketches were finalized, they were brought into color and eventually pixilation which was done on Piskel. As the main designer, it is important to me that a consistent style, color palette, and visual language are maintained throughout the project to ensure a cohesive and engaging user experience for cozy gamers.
